『呪術廻戦』
現在2クールにわたり放送中。原作は週刊少年ジャンプにて連載中で、現在14巻まで発刊されており、シリーズ累計発行部数は昨年12月時点で1500万部を突破した大人気作品です。アメリカでも日本と同時進行でアニメ放送されており、鬼滅の刃に次ぎ勢いのある作品だそうです。
まずは物語の舞台・あらすじからみていきましょう。
It is said that the mysterious death and missing toll is more than 10 thousand in Japan. Most of them are attacked by cursed spirits which are created by negative feelings of humans. They are life-threatening like a famous monster, ghost story or natural disaster.
日本国内の不可解な死者・行方不明者は年平均1万人を超えると言われており、そのほとんどが呪いの被害によるもの。呪いは人間の負の感情が生み出したもので、有名な妖怪や怪談、あるいは天災として顕現し人間の生命を脅かす存在です。
Fragments of the legendary and feared demon Ryomen Sukuna were lost and scattered. Should any demon consume Sukuna’s body parts, the power they gain could destroy the world as we know it.

伝説にして恐れられた鬼神“両面宿儺”のかけらは失われ、散り散りになっていました。呪霊たちが宿儺の破片を口にすれば、世界を破壊する力を得てしまいます。
ここで一旦、登場人物の紹介に移ります。
Yuji Itadori is the main protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a first-year at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School.
Yuji is famous for his superhuman physical abilities. As a vessel he has the exceedingly rare ability to contain Sukuna’s soul without any ill effects.

虎杖悠仁は呪術廻戦の主人公で、東京都立呪術高等専門学校に通う一年生。
常人離れした身体能力を持つことで知られる。彼は「器」として宿儺の魂を全く悪影響もなく抑え込める、極めて稀有な能力を持つ。
お次は作中でも高い人気を誇るキャラクター、五条先生について。
Satoru Gojo is one of the protagonists of Jujutsu Kaisen. He is a teacher at Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School.
Satoru is said to be one of, if not the strongest sorcerer in the series, holding both immense amounts of Cursed Energy and a dangerously powerful technique.

五条悟は呪術廻戦のメインキャラクターの1人。東京都立呪術高等専門学校の教師。
シリーズ最強の呪術師ではないとしても、計り知れないほどの呪力と危険なほど強力な術式を併せ持つ。
ストーリーの紹介に戻ります。
Itadori ate Sukuna’s finger which is part of a cursed high class object, and he incarnated Sukuna himself. Miraculously, Sukuna adopted Itadori’s vessel. Itadori was special. Ordinary people would have died during this process. However in the sorcerer’s world, people who eat cursed objects must be killed. Itadori is sentenced to death behind a veil of secrecy. But he is given a suspended sentence due to his teacher under Gojo’s discretion. Then he admits to Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School, and he and his friends begin battle to save the world.
虎杖はある事件をきっかけに、特級呪物である宿儺の指を口にし、自身の身体に宿儺を受肉させてしまいます。奇跡的にも彼は宿儺の器として適合します。普通の人間なら死に至るものの、虎杖は特別だったのです。しかし呪術師の世界では、呪物を食べた者は呪いとして祓われる対象に。虎杖は秘匿死刑を宣告されてしまいますが、彼の師となる五条悟の計らいにより、宿儺の欠片全てを集めるまでの執行猶予を得ます。そして都立呪術高専へ編入するところから、呪霊たちに立ち向かう彼と、彼の仲間たちの物語が始まります。
世界観やストーリーの面白さはもちろん、作画がきれいでバトルシーンは何度も繰り返し見たくなる作品です。敵キャラも含め、登場人物が個性的なのも魅力のひとつ。アイキャッチに描いた真人は、人間が人間を憎み恐れたことから生まれた呪いです。
オープニングにもこだわりがあり、回を追うごとに少し演出が変わっていくのも見どころです。来週から第2クールが始まるので、興味を持たれた方は是非ご覧ください！
