Types of Interpretation

Simultaneous Interpretation

This method involves the interpreter conveying the translation almost in real-time as the speaker talks. It's used in settings like international conferences or seminars where immediacy is crucial, typically requiring specialized equipment and booths.
This demanding service calls for highly experienced interpreters with exceptional focus and specialized knowledge.

Suitable Situations: Large-scale conferences and lectures with time constraints, situations where real-time information delivery is crucial.

Consecutive Interpretation

Here, the interpreter translates after the speaker finishes a segment of their speech. This method is ideal for meetings, business negotiations, or interviews where detailed nuances and accuracy are paramount.
Unlike simultaneous interpretation, it doesn't require special equipment, and the interpreter takes notes during the process.

Suitable Situations: Small-group business negotiations, meetings involving critical decision-making, Q&A sessions, legal and medical settings where accuracy is paramount.

Whispering Interpretation (Chuchotage)

In this method, the interpreter sits next to the listener and quietly whispers the translation directly into their ear. It's used for small meetings or site visits where only one or a few individuals require interpretation.
While convenient and equipment-free, it's not suitable for extended periods.

Suitable Situations: Small business meetings with a single foreign guest, personalized tours for VIPs, supplementary interpretation for specific participants in meetings or site visits.
