Key Factors Determining Your Estimate
- Interpreting Language
- The language(s) required for the assignment, such as English, French, Spanish, etc.
- Content and Specialization
- Fees differ based on the content, such as interpretation for a sightseeing trip versus a lecture at a medical university.
- Interpretation Format and Number of Interpreters
- The format required for the assignment (Consecutive, Simultaneous, Whispering), and the number of interpreters to be dispatched.
- Interpreter Class
- The difference in fees based on the interpreter class (A-Class, B-Class, General Class) to be dispatched.
- Assignment Duration and Contract Days
- The length of the interpreter's commitment per day (Half-Day, Full-Day, Overtime, Early Morning, Nighttime, etc.) and the total number of days required for the assignment.
- Interpreter Arrangement Fees (Travel Expenses, etc.)

Overview of Fees
Interpretation Format and Interpreter Class
Interpretation Format
Choosing the most suitable interpretation method for your situation will ensure smoother communication.
Additionally, because interpreting requires intense concentration, there is a time limit for a single interpreter to perform the duty effectively. Please refer to the guidelines below for the recommended number of interpreters.
| Types of Interpretation | |
|---|---|
| Consecutive Interpretation |
The interpreter relays the translation after the speaker has finished a segment of speech. This method is suitable for situations demanding high accuracy and detailed nuance, such as conferences, business negotiations, and interviews. No special equipment is required; the interpreter takes notes while the conversation proceeds. Ideal for: |
| Simultaneous Interpretation |
The interpreter relays the translation almost concurrently with the speaker's remarks. This method is used in situations requiring real-time communication, such as international conferences and seminars, and requires specialized equipment like headphones, microphones, and soundproof booths. Due to the high level of concentration and specialized knowledge required, it is generally performed by a team of experienced interpreters working in rotation. Ideal for: |
| Whispering Interpretation (Chuchotage) |
The interpreter sits next to the listener and quietly whispers the translation directly into their ear as the speaker talks. This method is used when interpretation is needed for only one person or a small group, such as in small meetings or site visits. It is convenient as it requires no equipment but is not suitable for long durations. Ideal for: |
Interpreter Classifications
We classify our interpreters into three tiers based on their career experience and specialized knowledge: A-Class, B-Class, and General Class.
| A-Class | These are highly accomplished interpreters with over 10 years of experience and a proven track record. They possess advanced specialized knowledge and are capable of providing precise and clear interpretations for lectures, seminars, press conferences, and similar high-stakes events. |
| B-Class |
Interpreters in this class have more than 5 years of experience in the field, proficient in both consecutive and whispering interpretation. They are well-suited for business negotiations, general training sessions, wedding ceremonies, and acting as MCs or interpreting greetings
at receptions. They can also perform simultaneous interpretation in general fields. Additionally, interpreters capable of handling three or more languages during the same assignment are also considered B-Class. |
| General-Class | This class is ideal for interpreting general content, as well as for roles requiring accompaniment, tourism guiding, or support at exhibition booths. |
