What would you do if your 2 years old daughter was taken by a giraffe at a safari park?
サファリパークで２歳の娘がキリンに捕まえられたら、どうしますか？
Well the parents of Paisley Toten found out firsthand on June 1st of this year.
ペイズリー・トーテンの両親は今年6月1日にそれを直接目撃をしました。
Young Paisley and her mother were riding in the back of a pickup truck at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center in Glen Rose, Texas in the United States.
ペイズリーとお母さんは、テキサス州グレンローズにあるフォッシル・リム野生動物センターでピックアップ・トラックの後部座席に乗っていた。
With the mother just having fed the giraffes, it was now little Paisley’s turn.
母親がキリンに餌をあげ終えたので、今度は小さなペイズリーの番でした。
Unfortunately for Paisley, the impatient giraffe missed the bag of animal feed and grabbed her shirt, lifting her into the air.
ペイズリーにとって残念なことに、せっかちなキリンは動物の餌の袋ではなく、彼女のシャツをつかんで空中に持ち上げてしまった。
Just as the father lost sight of his daughter in the rearview mirror, his wife shouted ‘hey!’ and the startled giraffe dropped the little girl back into the bed of the truck.
父親がバックミラーで娘を見失ったちょうどその時、妻が「おい！」と叫び、驚いたキリンは小さな女の子をトラックの荷台に落とした。
Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the Totens noted it was only a mistake.
幸いなことに、けが人は出ず、トーテンス一家はそれが単なる過ちであったと理解した。
In the end, everyone had an exciting day. Mr. and Mrs. Toten went home with a story, and little Paisley got to go home with her very own stuffed animal giraffe.
結局、みんな楽しい一日を過ごしました。トーテン夫妻は物語を持って帰り、小さなペイズリーちゃんは自分だけのキリンのぬいぐるみを持って帰ることができました。
