{"id":2630,"date":"2024-10-28T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-28T01:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/artlingual.com\/staffblog\/?p=2630"},"modified":"2024-10-21T15:55:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-21T06:55:14","slug":"spooky-american-folktales","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/artlingual.com\/staffblog\/?p=2630","title":{"rendered":"Spooky American Folktales"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seeing as Halloween is right around the corner, I thought it might be fun to introduce you to an old, American Folktale- The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, which is one of the most iconic spooky folktales in American history<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u30cf\u30ed\u30a6\u30a3\u30f3\u304c\u8fd1\u3065\u3044\u3066\u304d\u305f\u306e\u3067\u3001\u30a2\u30e1\u30ea\u30ab\u306e\u53e4\u3044\u6c11\u8a71\u300c\u30b9\u30ea\u30fc\u30d4\u30fc\u30db\u30ed\u30a6\u306e\u4f1d\u8aac\u300d\u3092\u7d39\u4ecb\u3059\u308b\u306e\u306b<\/em>\u3044\u3044\u6a5f\u4f1a\u3060\u3068<em>\u601d\u3044\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002\u3053\u308c\u306f\u30a2\u30e1\u30ea\u30ab\u306e\u6b74\u53f2\u306e\u4e2d\u3067\u6700\u3082\u8c61\u5fb4\u7684\u306a\u4e0d\u6c17\u5473\u306a\u6c11\u8a71\u306e1\u3064\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s so popular, it even had a Disney release- The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (<a>\u30a4\u30ab\u30dc\u30fc\u30c9\u3068\u30c8\u30fc\u30c9\u6c0f<\/a>), as well as a live action version starring Johnny Depp (\u30b9\u30ea\u30fc\u30d4\u30fc\u30fb\u30db\u30ed\u30a6)!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main character of this story is the lanky and awkward Ichabod Crane, a superstitious American school teacher who wishes to marry the beautiful daughter of a wealthy farmer-  Katrina Van Tassel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u3053\u306e\u7269\u8a9e\u306e\u4e3b\u4eba\u516c\u306f\u3001\u88d5\u798f\u306a\u8fb2\u5bb6\u306e\u7f8e\u3057\u3044\u5a18\u3001\u30ab\u30c8\u30ea\u30fc\u30ca\u30fb\u30f4\u30a1\u30f3\u30fb\u30bf\u30c3\u30bb\u30eb\u3068\u7d50\u5a5a\u3057\u305f\u3044\u3068\u601d\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3001\u8ff7\u4fe1\u6df1\u3044\u30a2\u30e1\u30ea\u30ab\u4eba\u6559\u5e2b\u3001\u3072\u3087\u308d\u3063\u3068\u3057\u305f\u4e0d\u5668\u7528\u306a\u30a4\u30ab\u30dc\u30c3\u30c9\u30fb\u30af\u30ec\u30a4\u30f3\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Legend has it that a headless, ghostly figure of a fallen Germanic soldier who was decapitated by a canonball during the American Revolutionary War roams the area of Sleepy Hallow searching for his lost head. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u4f1d\u8aac\u306b\u3088\u308c\u3070\u3001\u30a2\u30e1\u30ea\u30ab\u72ec\u7acb\u6226\u4e89\u4e2d\u306b\u5927\u7832\u306e\u7832\u5f3e\u3067\u9996\u3092\u5207\u65ad\u3055\u308c\u305f\u30c9\u30a4\u30c4\u5175\u306e\u5e7d\u970a\u304c\u3001\u5931\u308f\u308c\u305f\u9996\u3092\u63a2\u3057\u3066\u30b9\u30ea\u30fc\u30d4\u30fc\u30fb\u30cf\u30ed\u30a6\u5468\u8fba\u3092\u3055\u307e\u3088\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u305d\u3046\u3067\u3059\u3002<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/img.goodfon.com\/original\/1920x1280\/8\/d9\/art-halloween-vsadnik-bez.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ghost is said to ride a powerful black horse and is known to appear at night, particularly near the old churchyard where he was laid to rest. The ghost is said to be seen holding either his own severed head, or a pumpkin or jack-o-lantern of which he throws at people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u3053\u306e\u5e7d\u970a\u306f\u529b\u5f37\u3044\u9ed2\u99ac\u306b\u4e57\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u3066\u304a\u308a\u3001\u7279\u306b\u5f7c\u304c\u57cb\u846c\u3055\u308c\u3066\u3044\u308b\u53e4\u3044\u6559\u4f1a\u306e\u5893\u5730\u306e\u8fd1\u304f\u306b\u591c\u9593\u306b\u73fe\u308c\u308b\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002\u3053\u306e\u5e7d\u970a\u306f\u81ea\u5206\u306e\u9996\u3092\u6301\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u304b\u3001\u30ab\u30dc\u30c1\u30e3\u3084\u30b8\u30e3\u30c3\u30af\u30fb\u30aa\u30fc\u30fb\u30e9\u30f3\u30bf\u30f3\u3092\u6301\u3063\u3066\u4eba\u3005\u306b\u6295\u3052\u3066\u3044\u308b\u59ff\u304c\u898b\u3089\u308c\u308b\u3068\u8a00\u308f\u308c\u3066\u3044\u307e\u3059\u3002<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Is this terrifying spectral figure real?
